All surf course prices include all necessary equipment (we ask you to bring your own light picnic lunch). We are happy to tailor the number of course days to your needs and tell us what your plans are, we work with larger groups and longer courses and will be happy to offer discounts if possible.

Meeting Point Surf School
The surf courses for beginners and advanced take place near our surf school in Caleta de Famara. With 6 km of golden sand and constant waves all year round, you are guaranteed a great time. Our passionate surf instructors will get you on the waves in no time!
If you have surfed before and can surf an unbroken wave sideways for at least 5 seconds then this is also the group for you! Our surf school offers you the perfect set-up. You will learn maneuvers and receive many useful tips.

Our surf courses are suitable for everyone. You don't have to be a great athlete - you just have to be willing to spend some quality time on the beach and in the ocean with us and have fun! The wetsuit, rental board, and transportation to and from the beach are all included in the class.

Our beginner courses are always held in safe, waist-deep water and our qualified instructors are always by your side. We keep our groups small so you always have a dedicated teacher.

Our friendly and professional surf instructors always start with the basics of surfing. How a wave works, how to paddle a surfboard to catch a wave, and how to get up and ride your first wave.
will i feel safe
Your safety is important to us - classes begin with a dynamic, yoga-inspired warm-up on the beach to get you surf-ready. We always discuss how to behave safely in the water and how to behave while surfing. Also, our surf instructors are with you all the time.
Why do I need a surf course?
Surfing is much more than you think! When you learn with a qualified surf instructor, you will do everything right from the start in a safe environment.
surfboards: For beginner courses we always use soft surfboards with soft fins to avoid injuries. We also use extra long leashes so the board doesn't grab you if you fall off and you have a little more time to protect your body.
Wetsuits: Your body will be protected (from the sea, the board and the sun!) with one of our high quality wetsuits.
WARNING: The sun is very strong here, so we recommend that you cover your skin with a waterproof sunscreen with a high SPF. Sunscreen is highly recommended.
